Eric M. Spector, President

Eric M. Spector, the President of Ellja Partners, was formerly a management consultant with the firm of McKinsey & Company where he managed marketing strategy and operations engagements for large clients in the U.S., Europe and Latin America.

Mr. Spector founded and later sold a successful consumer catalog company that marketed over $100 million in products to a seven-figure customer base; developed and published CD-ROMs, sold domestically and licensed internationally; directed a turnaround for a company providing services to big-box retailers (including Wal-Mart); and co-founded an Internet firm providing online reservations and customer services for the restaurant industry.

In addition Mr. Spector served two years as a Volunteer in the U.S. Peace Corps. His educational experience includes service as a trustee of World College West in Novato, California and an M.B.A. from Harvard Business School.

Marian Carson Barber, Director of Marketing and Project Management

Ms. Barber brings to Ellja Partners extensive marketing and project management experience.

At Mercator Software Ms. Barber was Product Marketing Manager, E-Business, for this innovative middleware enterprise solutions provider. Prior experience also includes Senior Product Manager, Time Line Project Management division of Symantec Corporation, and positions with Sun Microsystems.
